 www.spaced.co.uk have extensive club listings. They're also the people who have those futuristic looking digital photo machines in clubs, and their site hosts a gallery of photos from clubs all over the country.  www.Lab4.com, home to probably the best homegrown (live) Hard House/Techno outfit.
Hard House labels are two-a-penny nowadays, but Tinrib Recordings is one of the original players on the Hard Dance scene.Featuring artists like Pete Wardman, Karim, Steve Thomas & Max Alien, the label has an enviable reputation for producing hard beats of the highest quality. You'll need Shockwave and a good sound card to take full advantage of their website.  Jon Trulove was responsible for one of the BIG dance choons of the 90's Candi Staton's - You've got the Love. Trulove now runs some of the major UK hard labels including TEC, Bosca Beats and Its Fabulous! Check out his site for more info on the label, audio and DJ's (including his girlfriend, Rachel Auburn!) http://www.gaylondon1.fsnet.co.uk/ This site provides up to date information on the London gay clubs scene and much, much more. Run by photographer Chris Geary, it, (somewhat surprisingly), also provides a very comprehensive and quite up to date overview of the Birmingham scene with links to most of the venues in Brum. I'll replace the text link above with a pic link when I get hold of one.  Another site providing a wide range of information about the London gay scene.  www.Outintheuk.com is a new gay website which offers a social setting for gay meetings both online and realtime. Their first gathering held in Birmingham attracted over 200 people. Sounds like a great idea and I wish them every success.  A great resource for gay men and lesbians in the midlands. Lots of links here to a wide range of health and entertainments sites, as well as info on health and other matters, You can organise info by locality.  London's leading website for lesbians and bisexual women.  Club Health shares research, policy and practice on health and nightlife. It carries out original research, develops public health information and promotes best practice through an international conference every two years. Check their DOWNLOADS section for health info as well as good links. 
Lots of info about drugs and links to other drug-related websites  Spiked is an interesting web-based publication. Here's what they say about themselves: "Based in London with a global outlook, our ambition is to champion unorthodox, enlightened thinking, and break new ground in online journalism. spiked stands for freedom of expression on the web, and aims to be 'online, off-message'."  Wolverhampton Campus Radio - local internet radio station with some nice mixes and shows. |
